NOTE:

Drain the cooling system.
Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding (303-03C Engine Cooling, General Procedures).

Detach the electrical wiring harness retainer.

Release the clamps and disconnect the coolant hoses.
Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
-
Remove the studbolt and the thermostat housing.
Torque:
35 lb.ft (47.5 Nm)
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Fill and bleed the cooling system.
