Ford Escape: Wipers and Washers / Removal and Installation - Windshield Washer Fluid Level Sensor

Motorcraft® Premium Windshield Wash Concentrate with Bitterant

Removal

  1. Remove the windshield washer reservoir.
    Refer to: Windshield Washer Reservoir (501-16 Wipers and Washers, Removal and Installation).
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    1. NOTE: Be prepared to collect escaping fluid.

      Remove the windshield washer fluid level sensor.

Installation

  1. NOTICE: Do not operate the washer pump prior to filling the windshield washer reservoir. Failure to follow this instruction may result in premature pump failure.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
